American Subversive, by David Goodwillie (Brand new and only a dollar! Couldn't pass it up.)

One Day, by David Nichols (Didn't see the movie, so the book isn't spoiled for me. Yay!)
The Lady in the Tower, by Jean Plaidy

A more modest take compared to last week. Still, I'm running low on shelf space over here...

  1. You should get an ereader. For years I fought against getting them, but my husband refused to build me anymore bookshelves. (Well, not refused we've run out of wall space and I already have 1/2 of a 1 car garages stacked floor to ceiling with boxes of book) So, I got an ereader and just love it. I still buy books- buy only if they aren't available in ebook form or if I can get them really cheap. My husband would be so mad, but I bought 3 copies of "A Distant Mirror" by Barbara Tuchman over the past year. It was out of print at the time and copies keep appearing at our library's used book store- I spent no more than $1 each. If you like The Middle Ages, this is supposed to be a good overall history book for laypeople covering that time period.

    1. I do plan on getting an ereader. I'm looking into the Nook Tablet at the moment. I'll definitely still buy physical books too, though.

      And that book sounds interesting!
